He is expected to be 100% recovered by the start of spring training in February.\n\nThis injury had already affected Winn on the injured list at the beginning of the season. The 23-year-old player revealed that the discomfort had intensified in recent weeks.\n\nWinn tried to play despite the pain, but his knee didn&#8217;t respond as he or the team&#8217;s medical staff expected.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>We took a couple of days (in Seattle), but it didn&#8217;t feel good there. I was hoping that after three days of rest it would feel much better and when I showed up yesterday, it was very difficult to hit and take ground balls.<\/p><cite>Masyn Winn<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nIn his second full season in the Major Leagues, Winn batted .253 with nine home runs and 51 RBIs.
