Ben Griffin Dominates Procore Championship with Impeccable Performance<\/h2>\n\nBen Griffin showcased his skill at the Procore Championship, maintaining composure and focus despite the presence of his Ryder Cup teammates. With a bogey-free second round and an impressive 66 strokes under par, Griffin positioned himself at the top of the leaderboard, with a three-stroke lead.\n\nRussell Henley, who will make his Ryder Cup debut in two weeks, finished three strokes behind Griffin. Although he had some setbacks in the last nine holes, he managed to close the day with 68 strokes.\n\nJ.J. Spaun, US Open champion and also a participant at Bethpage Black, stayed five strokes away with a round of 68 strokes.\n\nSilverado features the participation of ten players from the American team, with captain Keegan Bradley closely observing everyone’s performance. Competition is key for players to stay in shape and ready for the Ryder Cup.\n\n\n

“My main focus has been this golf tournament. Although the Ryder Cup is present off the course, my goal is to play well here,” Griffin commented.<\/p>\n\nBen Griffin<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nGriffin masterfully played the three par 5s on the back nine, demonstrating solid play and minimizing any stress.\n\nGriffin is at 14 under par, sharing the Ryder Cup rookie position with Henley, Spaun, and Cameron Young.\n\nScottie Scheffler, although he recorded more birdies than in the initial round, failed to reach his best level and finished with 68 strokes, remaining eight strokes behind the leader.\n\nHenley, who played alongside Scheffler and Spaun, experienced a productive day until a three-putt bogey and a miss on the seventh hole cost him points.\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a dream come true to play on the team, and sharing the court with two teammates this week has been great,\u201d Henley said. \u201cI\u2019m thinking about it, but I\u2019m making sure I have a good week of preparation.\u201d<\/p>\n\nRussell Henley<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nSpaun, for his part, admitted that he didn’t feel in his best form, but managed to maintain a good pace.\n\n\n

\u201cIt wasn’t great, but it wasn’t terrible either. I took advantage of some good shots and made some putts outside of three feet,\u201d Spaun stated.<\/p>\n\nJ.J. Spaun<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nGriffin, after finishing his round, continued practicing to perfect his game.\n\n\n
