Andy Murray Seeks to Qualify for The Open Championship<\/h2>\n\nFormer world number one in tennis, Andy Murray, has revealed his plans to participate in the regional qualifying for The Open Championship.\n\nMurray, a three-time Grand Slam winner, who retired after last year’s Paris Olympics, has been playing golf regularly since ending his tennis career. He recently achieved an eagle on the 18th hole of the Wentworth pro-am before the BMW PGA Championship on Wednesday.\n\nThe Brit, with a handicap of two, in addition to aspiring to reduce it to zero, wants to try his luck in qualifying for the oldest golf major.\n\n\n
