Lewis Hamilton, for his part, recovered from a grid penalty to secure sixth place, starting from tenth position.<\/p>\n\nLeclerc finished the race four seconds behind Oscar Piastri&#8217;s McLaren, who took third place, but 25 seconds behind the winner, Max Verstappen.\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I think today is a shame and I am disappointed not to be able to bring a podium to the Tifosi, because when you see the fans on the starting and finishing line and the podium, it would have been magical and they deserve it.<\/p><cite>Fred Vasseur<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nVasseur also highlighted that the differences were minimal throughout the weekend, not just in practice.\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a2.espncdn.com\/combiner\/i?img=%2Fphoto%2F2025%2F0907%2Fr1542235_1296x729_16%2D9.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><figcaption>Fred Vasseur, jefe del equipo Ferrari, lament\u00f3 no conseguir un podio para los fan\u00e1ticos de Ferrari.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\nVasseur pointed out that the team was close to McLaren. &#8220;I think Max was outstanding,&#8221; he added. &#8220;From the first lap to the last, he was there, flying, and he was much faster than us. But overall, I think that compared to Mercedes and McLaren, we did our job.
