Meanwhile, Amanda Anisimova experienced a significant rise, climbing five positions to reach her best ranking in the WTA.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>When you achieve the goals you set at the beginning of the year, you feel incredible.<\/p><cite>Carlos Alcaraz<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nAlcaraz achieved this milestone after his victory over Sinner at Arthur Ashe Stadium, with a score of 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4. Sinner had held the number 1 spot since June 2024, accumulating 65 weeks in that position.\n\nThe Spanish tennis player had reached number 1 for the first time in September 2022, at the age of 19, becoming the youngest number 1 in ATP history.
