Santo Domingo Este – In the continuation of the U15 Pre-World Baseball Tournament, held at the IPL Complex in Santo Domingo Este, the Cuban team defeated Aruba with a score of 8-5, improving their record to (1-2), while Aruba registers (0-3).<\/p>\n
The event, endorsed by the World Baseball and Softball Confederation, is organized by the Dominican Baseball Federation.<\/p>\n
The Cuban team started strong, scoring runs in the first inning. Cristopher Garc\u00eda, after receiving a walk, and Cristian Aguilera, driven in by a single from Jos\u00e9 Mu\u00f1iz to left field, put Cuba up 2-0 after seven batters.<\/p>\n
Cuba continued its offensive, adding three more runs with three hits and a walk, consolidating its dominance in the game.<\/p>\n
Cuban pitcher Joseph Arias controlled Aruba’s offense, which scored its first run in the fourth inning and added two more in the sixth, closing the score (6-3).<\/p>\n
