Mike Tyson Returns to the Stage with “Return of the Mike”<\/h2>\n\n\nThe boxing legend, Mike Tyson, is preparing to captivate his fans again with his new one-man show, “Return of the Mike”. This exclusive event will be presented at four Hard Rock Live venues in the United States, starting in November.\n\nThis return to the stage comes after the announcement of an exhibition fight between Tyson and Floyd Mayweather Jr., scheduled for next spring. The new show will mark Tyson’s first performance since his national tour “Mike Tyson: The Undisputed Truth” in 2013.\n\nAccording to representatives from Tyson and Hard Rock International, the show will be broadcast on a “major global streaming platform” in 2026, with the recording of the show taking place on December 14 in Hollywood, Florida.\n\n\n

It’s been a while since I’ve done a one-man show. I’ll be able to tell you about all my new demands that you don’t know about and some other pretty exciting things that have happened in my life. It will be very exciting, quite fascinating, some sad stories and a totally different view of things you may already know.<\/p>Mike Tyson<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nTyson has been writing alongside his wife, Lakiha “Kiki” Tyson, for the past few years. He describes his new show as an “unfiltered self-analysis” that will delve into his battles with addiction and mental health, along with personal stories and reflections on his successful boxing career.\n\nThe boxer also plans to address in detail his recent boxing match with Jake Paul and his pre-fight health issues, including an ulcer that delayed the event.\n\n\n

There are so many things I’m going to talk about in that fight. I didn’t know how dangerous an ulcer was. I thought it would calm down in an hour or two, but I passed out on the plane. I was bleeding everywhere. There was so much blood. They had to stop the flight and take me to the hospital.<\/p>Mike Tyson<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nTyson revealed that he practically had to beg the doctors to authorize him to fight Paul, but that night his health was not his biggest concern. He was nervous for another reason.\n\n\n

It was terrifying [walking to the ring that night], because I hadn’t been in a professional fight [in front of a crowd] in 20 years and I wasn’t prepared for all the love the fans gave me that night. I was overwhelmed. But, in reality, that fight should never have taken place. The doctors didn’t want the fight to take place [after the ulcer worsened].<\/p>Mike Tyson<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe four-city tour will begin on November 9 at the Hard Rock Casino in Rockford, Illinois. Then, Tyson will head to Cincinnati for his second show on November 23. He will perform at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, on December 14 for a special recording in front of a live audience, before making his final stop at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on January 23, 2026.\n\nWhile preparing for his new show, Tyson will also have to train for his fight with Mayweather. He admitted that training for a fight as he approaches 60 is difficult, but preparing to perform on stage alone is also a daunting task.\n\n\n

[Preparing for the stage and preparing for a fight] are on par. But what I found is that athletes like me and artists can perform because we like the pressure. So being on stage, speaking and acting is nothing.<\/p>Mike Tyson<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nPresale tickets will begin on Tuesday, and tickets for the general public will be available starting Friday.\n\n\n
