Parsons participated in all four practices, albeit in a limited capacity.\n\nThis is the first time Parsons has practiced since the end of the previous season, when he played with the Dallas Cowboys. He did not participate in any practices during the preseason or training camp before being transferred to Green Bay last week.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cHe has been limited, but he has done a good job in that regard\u201d, commented Packers coach Matt LaFleur.<\/p><cite>Matt LaFleur, Packers Coach<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nParsons revealed on Thursday that he finished a steroid treatment on his back, started before his transfer, and that he plans to avoid an injection, if possible.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;We finished the steroid treatment and hopefully that works, along with the treatment, to get me back to 100%,&#8221; Parsons said.<\/p><cite>Micah Parsons<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe player left the decision on his participation in Week 1 in the hands of the coaches.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cI have many plans prepared for when he is fully recovered and ready to play,\u201d explained Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley. \u201cFor now, we are evaluating what he can do and determining what is best for the team.\u201d<\/p><cite>Jeff Hafley, Packers Defensive Coordinator<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nSix other players were also listed as questionable:\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Zayne Anderson (knee)<\/li>\n<li>Nate Hobbs (knee)<\/li>\n<li>Jayden Reed (foot)<\/li>\n<li>Barryn Sorrell (knee)<\/li>\n<li>Dontayvion Wicks (calf)<\/li>\n<li>Savion Williams (hamstring)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\nOn the other hand, quarterback Jordan Love (left thumb) and center Elgton Jenkins (hip) were removed from the injury report and are cleared to play.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Micah Parsons: Questionable for Debut Against Packers Micah Parsons, after his first week with the Green Bay Packers, has been listed as questionable for the regular season opener against the Detroit Lions.
