Kyle Tucker Exits Game with Calf Discomfort<\/h2>\n\nThe Cubs’ star outfielder, Kyle Tucker, had to leave Tuesday night’s game against the Braves due to a left calf strain, shortly after hitting a three-run homer in the team’s 4-3 victory.\n\nAfter the match, Tucker revealed that the calf discomfort has been affecting him for several days.\n\n\n

I felt it quite a bit today. I tried some treatments before the game. I felt good and then, as the game went on, it got a little more sore and tight.<\/p>Kyle Tucker<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nCubs manager Craig Counsell has already ruled out Tucker for Wednesday’s game against the Braves. The Cubs have a day off on Thursday, so Tucker will have two full days of rest before possibly returning on Friday for the first game of a three-game series against the Nationals.\n\n\n

We just have to see how Friday feels and be cautious, absolutely.<\/p>Craig Counsell<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nTucker hit his 22nd home run of the season, a three-run shot in the third inning against Braves pitcher Joey Wentz. In the fifth inning, he singled and was then put out at second base. Then, he left the game in the top of the seventh inning.\n\nWilli Castro replaced him in right field and could start on Wednesday. Another option is rookie Kevin Alcantara, who started in center on Tuesday.\n\nTucker recently came out of a long slump after dealing with a stress fracture in his hand suffered in June. He hasn’t missed much time this year after missing about half of the 2024 season due to a tibia fracture.\n\nTucker is batting .270 with 73 RBIs after his home run on Tuesday.\n\n\n
