Coker is expected to miss the first four to six games. Initially, Coker was considered the first replacement for veteran Adam Thielen, who was traded to the Minnesota Vikings last week.

Renfrow returns after missing the 2024 season after being released by the Las Vegas Raiders, following a 2023 season in which his production declined significantly while dealing with ulcerative colitis.

Bringing Hunter back

Read more : https://t.co/ANNcz7bvx6 pic.twitter.com/DJUIhmkcTd
— Carolina Panthers (@Panthers) August 30, 2025

There were times when, while dealing with the illness, Renfrow suffered seven straight days of 103-degree fever.
