The son of the Mexican boxing legend, Julio C\u00e9sar Ch\u00e1vez, is now awaiting trial.\n\nCh\u00e1vez Jr. faces accusations related to his alleged involvement in cartel activities and the illegal trafficking of weapons to Mexico.\n\nThe boxer&#8217;s release came after a judge in the city of Hermosillo, northern Mexico, determined that it was not necessary to keep him in custody while awaiting trial.
