And then the last four were good shots and some really good putts.<\/p>\n\n<cite>Jodi Ewart Shadoff<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nNelly Korda, who switched to a blade putter, also had an outstanding performance with seven birdies, finishing with a round of 67 in her debut at TPC Boston, a course that previously hosted PGA Tour postseason events.\n\nCorpuz, with a victory at the U.S. Women&#8217;s Open in Pebble Beach two years ago, has had a year of ups and downs. Despite not achieving the desired results, Corpuz felt she was close to achieving it.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p>I feel like golf is a very curious game. Although the results haven&#8217;t been what I wanted to see, I&#8217;ve felt like I&#8217;ve been very close all season. It was a good start to the season and I feel like things are starting to change a bit.<\/p>\n\n<cite>Allisen Corpuz<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nKim, playing in cooler morning conditions, birdied three of the par 5s, but finished with a par on the final hole.\n\nJeeno Thitikul, in her second week since regaining the number 1 spot in the women&#8217;s world ranking, stumbled on the 18th hole, finishing with a bogey and a round of 69.\n\nThe LPGA season has been marked by 22 consecutive tournaments with different winners and Korda without victories. Korda, who won seven titles in 2024, lost the number 1 spot two weeks ago.\n\nHer round of 67 placed her in a group of players tied for third place, including Minjee Lee, Celine Boutier, Andrea Lee, and Gurleen Kaur.\n\nKorda, who has struggled with Florida courses, decided to try a new putter and a different grip, which gave her good results.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n\n<p>Just something new. I knew I had a lot of success with that type of putter and felt confident with it.
