The team announced he will be out for three to four months.<\/p>\n<p>Strus suffered the injury, a fracture in the bone that connects the pinky toe to the base of the foot, during recent training in the preseason.<\/p>\n<p>The 28-year-old player is expected to resume basketball-related activities within three to four months.<\/p>\n<p>Strus joined the Cavaliers two summers ago via a four-year, $63 million sign-and-trade deal. He has played a crucial role in Cleveland&#8217;s rise as a contender in the Eastern Conference over the past two years.<\/p>\n<p>Last season, Strus also missed the first two months due to a right ankle sprain suffered during training.
