Jade Shekells joins Jones in the midfield.\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a1.espncdn.com\/combiner\/i?img=%2Fphoto%2F2025%2F0828%2Fr1537819_1296x729_16%2D9.jpg\" alt=\"Jess Breach ha sido nombrada para iniciar en el ala derecha contra Samoa.\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\nJess Breach will play on the right wing, while Claudia Moloney-MacDonald will be on the left wing and Emma Sing in the fullback position.\n\nUp front, Kelsey Clifford, Lark Atkin-Davies and Sarah Bern will form the front row, with Lilli Ives Campion and Rosie Galligan in the second row.\n\nIn the third line, Marlie Packer returns as captain in the open flanker position, with Abi Burton on the blind side and Maddie Feaunati at number 8.\n\nCoach John Mitchell had previously expressed his plan for the selections in the group stage.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>It has been in our planning to give everyone playing time during the first two group stage matches and, except for Holly [Aitchison], we have been able to execute it with this selection.<\/p><cite>John Mitchell<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nMitchell also added:\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Our new combination wants to make each other proud and build on our performance against the United States in our opening match.<\/p><cite>John Mitchell<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe coach concluded:\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>It will be a great environment for them in one of the most traditional rugby fields in the country.
