The team announced he will be out for three to four months.<\/p>\n<p>Strus suffered the injury, a fracture in the bone that connects the pinky toe to the base of the foot, during recent preseason training.<\/p>\n<p>The 28-year-old player is expected to return to basketball activities in a period of three to four months.<\/p>\n<p>Strus joined the Cavaliers two summers ago via a sign-and-trade deal for four years and $63 million. He has played a key role in Cleveland&#8217;s rise as a contender in the Eastern Conference over the past two years.<\/p>\n<p>Last season, Strus was also affected by a right ankle injury suffered during training.
