Daniil Medvedev Fined for Behavior at the US Open<\/h2>\n\nRussian tennis player Daniil Medvedev was fined $42,500 for his behavior during his first-round loss at the US Open.\n\nThe penalty, which represents more than a third of the $110,000 dollars he earned in the tournament, was imposed by the tournament referee, Jake Garner.\n\nMedvedev received a $30,000 fine for unsportsmanlike conduct and an additional $12,500 fine for racket abuse.\n\n\n
