The firing ended a 20-year period that included eight F1 drivers&#8217; titles and the recent turmoil that followed the team on and off the track.\n\n<p>Recent reports claimed that Horner was going to join Cadillac, which will debut next season. However, Dan Towriss, CEO of the Cadillac Formula 1 team and TWG Motorsports, said, when announcing his driver lineup with Valtteri Bottas and Sergio P\u00e9rez, that he was not going to hire Horner.<\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>There have been no conversations with Christian Horner. There are no plans to do that.
