So you should be proud of yourself.&#8221;\n\nRory McIlroy, Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood, Robert MacIntyre and Tyrrell Hatton had already secured the other five automatic spots on Luke Donald&#8217;s team, which will defend the Ryder Cup.\n\nLowry now hopes to be one of the six players chosen by the captain to complete the 12-man team.
