INDIANAPOLIS \u2013 Jessica Shepard made WNBA history by recording the fastest triple-double in history, in just 22 minutes. The Minnesota Lynx player led her team to victory over the Indiana Fever with a score of 95-90.<\/p>\n
Shepard finished the game with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists, with an impressive field goal percentage of 10 of 11. She completed her triple-double in 21 minutes and 57 seconds of play, surpassing the previous record set by Skylar Diggins of Seattle, who achieved it in 22 minutes and 51 seconds.<\/p>\n
Shepard joins Moriah Jefferson as the only Lynx players to achieve a triple-double in franchise history.<\/p>\n
Kayla McBride was the top scorer of the match with 29 points for Minnesota, which broke a two-game losing streak and has a 7-3 record in its last 10 games. McBride also added five assists, with 10 of 19 field goals. Natisha Hiedeman contributed 17 points off the bench in 26 minutes.<\/p>\n
At halftime, Shepard had already achieved a double-double with 11 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds. Minnesota took the lead definitively thanks to a layup by Shepard at the beginning of the third quarter, surpassing the Fever 32-17 in that period.<\/p>\n
