The tournament is scheduled to begin on September 20.\n\nThe agreement with the historic &#8220;Las 5 Esquinas&#8221; franchise was recently finalized, and Pe\u00f1a will immediately take over the direction of the green and yellow team&#8217;s training sessions.\n\nPe\u00f1a, recognized as National Leader of the Year 2024 by the Dominican Basketball Federation, is one of the most successful coaches in the country. His career includes multiple awards and championships in various superior basketball tournaments.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I feel very honored and grateful to join a club with the tradition and prestige of San Carlos. I have closely followed the signings and I know that we have a group ready to compete in a big way. My commitment is to give my best to conquer the cup and be part of this history.<\/p><cite>V\u00edctor Pe\u00f1a<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe San Carlos team has confirmed the addition of Jaison Valdez and Sterling Manley as reinforcements for the season.
