Following the incident, he was released on a $500 bond and is due to appear in Stamford Superior Court on August 26.\n\nThe accident occurred a few hours before the news of the death of Hulk Hogan, a wrestling legend, was announced, whom McMahon had publicly praised.\n\nPolice reports detail that McMahon was driving north when he collided from behind with a BMW, subsequently impacting a wooden barrier. A third vehicle, traveling in the opposite direction, was also affected by hitting debris from the accident.\n\nIn the accident, there were no passengers in any of the vehicles. The three drivers were wearing seatbelts. The airbags deployed in McMahon’s car, while they did not in the other driver’s BMW.\n\n
