Conor McGregor, partial co-owner of BKFC, announced the news on his social media, following an initial report.\n\nAli Abdelaziz, Edgar&#8217;s manager, also confirmed the news.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I&#8217;m very excited to compete again, especially here in Jersey.<\/p><cite>Frankie Edgar<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nEdgar retired from MMA in 2022 with a record of 24-11-1. The former lightweight champion is one of the most beloved figures in UFC history, known for his heart and willingness to take on bigger opponents in the prime of his career. He won the UFC 155-pound title despite being a heavy underdog against BJ Penn in 2010.
