Rasmus H\u00f8jgaard leads the Danish Golf Championship<\/h2>\n\nDanish golfer Rasmus H\u00f8jgaard delighted local fans and strengthened his Ryder Cup aspirations by taking a two-stroke lead at the Danish Golf Championship on Friday.\n\nH\u00f8jgaard added a card of 64 strokes, seven under par, to his initial round of 66 at the Fureso Golf Club, which allowed him to lead halfway through the tournament in his country.\n\nThe 24-year-old player is currently in eighth position on the European Team Ryder Cup points list, just outside the top six places that automatically qualify. Luke Donald, team captain, will make six captain’s picks after the Betfred British Masters on August 24.\n\n\n
