The incident, which involved his Bentley and two other vehicles, occurred a few hours before the news of the death of Hulk Hogan, a wrestling legend, who was praised by McMahon, was announced.\n\nAccording to state police reports, McMahon was cited for reckless driving and following another vehicle too closely. The accident took place last Thursday on the Merritt Parkway in Westport. Fortunately, there were no injuries.\n\nMcMahon was released after posting a $500 bond and is due to appear before Stamford Superior Court on August 26. So far, McMahon’s representatives have not issued any statement.\n\nThe accident was initially reported by TMZ on Tuesday.\n\nPhotographs taken by Barbara Doran, one of the people involved in the accident, revealed significant damage to the front of McMahon’s 2024 Bentley Continental GT Speed, which was being towed in Westport. The images also showed damage to the rear of Doran’s BMW 430.\n\nThe police report indicates that McMahon, who was driving north on the highway, rear-ended the BMW and then crashed into a wooden guardrail. A vehicle traveling in the southbound lanes collided with debris from the accident that flew over the guardrail.\n\nAccording to the police, there were no passengers in any of the vehicles and all three drivers were wearing seatbelts. McMahon’s car airbags deployed, while Doran’s did not.\n\n

Last year, he also resigned as executive chairman of the TKO Group Holdings board of directors, WWE’s parent company, one day after a former WWE employee filed a lawsuit against him for sexual abuse.
