Brawl on the court: Three players ejected in the Sun vs. Sky match<\/h2>\n\nAn altercation on the court resulted in the ejection of three players during Wednesday night’s game between the Connecticut Sun and the Chicago Sky, with the Sun winning 71-62.\n\nThe incident occurred in the second quarter, when the Sun’s Bria Hartley and the Sky’s Rebecca Allen were vying for a rebound. Allen appeared to grab Hartley’s right arm, who responded by pushing Allen to the ground. Allen then grabbed Hartley by the jersey.\n\nWhile officials intervened to separate the players, the Sky’s Ariel Atkins joined the fight, pushing Hartley and making contact with a referee.\n\nAfter a review that delayed the game for about 10 minutes, Hartley and Allen were ejected for fighting, and Atkins was ejected “for being a climber,” according to team leader Angelica Suffren.\n\n\n

I think these types of things tend to happen when there’s no control over the previous game. Usually, there’s an overlooked incident that leads to something like this. Allen received an elbow to the face right in front of the referee and it wasn’t sanctioned. Then other things happened. It’s unfortunate for us.
