The 32-year-old right-hander is returning after suffering a sprain in his right ankle.\n\nLeft-handed Ranger Su\u00e1rez will take the mound on Monday against the Mariners. The National League East leaders also feature ace Zack Wheeler, left-handers Cristopher S\u00e1nchez and Jes\u00fas Luzardo, and right-hander Taijuan Walker.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Once safe and then we have some other ideas on how to attack this as we move forward.<\/p><cite>Rob Thomson<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThomson commented that he is not sure how long they will maintain the six-pitcher rotation.\n\nPhiladelphia&#8217;s starters lead the Major Leagues with 693.1 innings pitched. S\u00e1nchez has accumulated 150.2 innings, and Wheeler 144.2.\n\nThomson explained that the goal is to give pitchers extra rest, as they have worked a lot throughout the season. &#8220;The only drawback is that we have to take someone out of the bullpen, so we will be a little short, but we will have to figure it out,&#8221; he added.\n\nNola hasn&#8217;t pitched in the majors since May 14.
