Sexual Assault Case Against Isaiah Bond Dismissed<\/h2>\n\nFormer Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond will not face additional criminal charges after a Collin County, Texas grand jury dismissed the sexual assault case against him, District Attorney Greg Willis announced Thursday.\n\n\n

“After reviewing all the evidence presented, a Collin County grand jury issued a ‘no bill’ on the sexual assault charge involving Isaiah Bond, which means an indictment will not be issued,” Willis stated.<\/p>Greg Willis, Collin County District Attorney<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThis ruling concludes the criminal proceedings in this matter.\n\nFollowing the news of the case’s closure, Bond released a statement on Instagram indicating his intention to sign with the Cleveland Browns.\n\nBond thanked the Browns “for believing in me” and expressed his gratitude for the prosecutor’s and courts’ decision not to press charges. Furthermore, he added: “I am determined to show the Browns organization and everyone who believes in me, that they did well in trusting me.”\n\n\n
