Jontay admitted to participating in a betting scheme that led him to miss two games to benefit associates who had bet that his statistics would be below expectations.\n\nMichael Porter Jr., who was traded to the Brooklyn Nets this offseason, indicated that he understands how players from disadvantaged backgrounds can succumb to the temptations of sports betting.\n\n
