His usual caddie, Ted Scott, will not be present at the tournament due to a family emergency.\n\nScheffler confirmed that Scott had to withdraw from the FedEx St. Jude Championship last week to attend to a family matter in Louisiana.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Ted&#8217;s where he needs to be right now. I think caddying is probably the last thing on his mind, as it should be. I&#8217;ve been able to speak with him a few times. The family is in good spirits. Everyone seems to be doing well.<\/p><cite>Scottie Scheffler<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nIn the BMW Championship, Scheffler will have Michael Cromie as his caddie.\n\nCromie, who works for Chris Kirk, is in a temporary substitute position.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Mike is a great guy. He works very hard.
