When Ferguson was in charge, there were principles not just for the first team, but for the whole academy. You could pick players from 15 years old, a whole generation, and everyone would understand the principles of playing the Manchester United way.<\/p>Marcus Rashford<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n

\"Marcus<\/figure>\n\n\nRashford, who was trained in the academy under Ferguson’s tutelage, did not debut with the first team under his direction.\n\nThe United had their worst season in the Premier League, finishing in 15th position, and has struggled to maintain success since Ferguson’s departure. Rashford believes that the constant change of coaches has stagnated the club.\n\n

The direction is always changing, you can’t expect to win the league. You can win some cup tournaments, but it’s because you have a good coach, good players and winners in your team, it’s not by chance. I feel like we’ve had so many different coaches and ideas and strategies to win. You end up in the middle of… You end up in no man’s land.<\/p>Marcus Rashford<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\nWhen asked if United’s difficulties have affected him, Rashford replied: “Yes, 100%. Not just as a player, but as a United fan.”\n\nRashford also spoke about how Liverpool backed J\u00fcrgen Klopp during his first years at the club. The German managed to win Liverpool’s first league title in 30 years, as well as their sixth European Cup.\n\n“To start a transition, you have to make a plan and stick to it. That’s what I feel.
