Ganne clinched the victory at the U.S. Women&#8217;s Amateur with a score of 4 and 3.\n\nOn several occasions, Biermann won a hole in the afternoon, but Ganne responded with a birdie to maintain a 4-up lead, making it evident that victory was near. Biermann, on two occasions, missed the green and conceded holes in the afternoon, failing to put pressure on Ganne.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Brooke didn&#8217;t make it easy for me. She showed a lot of fight. This is probably my last Women&#8217;s Amateur, and I really wanted to achieve it.<\/p><cite>Megha Ganne<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nGanne, who will begin her final year at Stanford next month, has been pursuing a USGA title for nearly a decade. Previously, she reached the semifinals of the U.S. Women&#8217;s Amateur in 2019, at age 15, losing in 19 holes against Albane Valenzuela.\n\nHis path to victory at Bandon Dunes was close to not materializing.\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/a4.espncdn.com\/combiner\/i?img=%2Fphoto%2F2025%2F0811%2Fr1530227_1296x729_16%2D9.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><figcaption>Megha Ganne celebra su victoria en el campeonato del domingo en el U.S. Women&#8217;s Amateur.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\nGanne was 4 down with seven holes to play in the semi-finals against Ella Scaysbrook. However, he managed to come back, forcing extra holes and winning with a birdie on the 19th hole.\n\nThe final wasn&#8217;t very exciting. Ganne was never at a disadvantage, although each player won three holes. The match was even until the 11th hole in the morning.\n\nBiermann lost the following three holes with bogeys, unable to recover. Ganne achieved a 3-up lead after 18 holes, and Biermann never got close.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Megha is a great player. I tried to focus on my thoughts. Unfortunately, the putter didn&#8217;t work today. Overall, I feel like I gave it my best. I had a lot of fun here.<\/p><cite>Brooke Biermann<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nBiermann, who just finished his college career at Michigan State, struggled to stay in the game. On the 14th hole, he had a 20-foot putt from the edge of the green, which he needed to make to cut the deficit to 2 down with four holes to play.\n\nBut Biermann&#8217;s shot was short, missing the next putt and going 4 down with four holes to play. Ganne, for his part, made two putts from 15 feet for par on the next hole and closed out the match.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I can&#8217;t believe I&#8217;m here right now.
