Vince McMahon Involved in Car Accident in Connecticut<\/h2>\n\nFormer WWE CEO Vince McMahon was involved in a car accident on a Connecticut highway, resulting in damage to his Bentley and two other vehicles. The incident occurred last Thursday morning on the Merritt Parkway, Westport, according to state police reports.\n\nMcMahon was cited for reckless driving and following another vehicle too closely. Fortunately, there were no injuries. He was released after posting a $500 bond and was ordered to appear in Stamford Superior Court on August 26.\n\nAuthorities reported that the accident occurred when McMahon, driving northbound, rear-ended a BMW and then crashed into a wooden barrier. A vehicle traveling southbound struck debris from the accident.\n\nMcMahon’s vehicle airbags deployed, while in the other driver’s BMW, they did not.\n\n\n

I was hit from behind and catapulted forward and you can see the tire marks where I was desperately trying to stay on the road,\u201d Doran commented.<\/p>\n\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nDoran, 72, also reported that he spoke with McMahon after the accident.\n\n\n

\u201cHe just, you know, expressed his concern, was glad I was okay and all that. And I thanked him for his concern,\u201d Doran said.<\/p>\n\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nMcMahon resigned as WWE CEO in 2022 due to an internal investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct. He also stepped down as executive chairman of the board of directors of TKO Group Holdings, WWE’s parent company, last year, one day after a former WWE employee filed a lawsuit against him for sexual assault. McMahon has denied these allegations and the lawsuit is still pending.\n\nMcMahon acquired what was then the World Wrestling Federation in 1982, transforming it into a global phenomenon.
