The Italian engineer, coming from Ferrari, joins the team after an agreement that ended a dispute over his start date.\n\nCardile left his position as technical director at Ferrari in mid-2024 to join Aston Martin. Cardile&#8217;s arrival is part of an Aston Martin strategy led by Lawrence Stroll, the team owner, to compete for the championship starting in 2026.\n\nThe incorporation of Cardile joins the signings of figures such as Adrian Newey, a design legend in F1, and Andy Cowell, a motor expert from Mercedes.
