The special event will take place on August 15, coinciding with the game against the Seattle Mariners, in what will be &#8220;Beatles Night&#8221; at Citi Field.<\/p>\n<p>The 1965 performance marked a significant milestone, as The Beatles became the first rock band to offer a large-scale concert in a stadium. A 50-minute documentary, titled &#8220;The Beatles at Shea Stadium&#8221;, immortalized this unforgettable spectacle. At that time, the multipurpose stadium was home to the New York Mets and Jets.<\/p>\n<p>The celebration will kick off with a performance by 1964 the Tribute, which will be presented in front of the Shea Bridge at 6:15 p.m. ET. The first 15,000 fans entering Citi Field will receive an exclusive replica of Shea Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>The initial launch of the game will be handled by staff members who worked on the famous concert.
