McVay revealed on Thursday that Stafford received an epidural as part of the recovery plan.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n    <p>We&#8217;ve taken a very cautious approach, but if we were playing a game this week, he would be playing.<\/p><cite>Sean McVay<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nStafford will not participate in the Rams&#8217; joint practice against the Chargers on Wednesday due to &#8220;uncontrolled parameters&#8221; when facing another team, McVay explained.
