Packer, who was interim captain, received a red card on Saturday during England’s 97-7 victory over Spain in a World Cup warm-up match in Leicester.<\/p>\n
The player was sanctioned for an action in a ruck, where her shoulder impacted and bent the leg of the Spanish fullback, Claudia Pe\u00f1a.<\/p>\n
Packer did not accept that the action deserved a red card in his disciplinary hearing, but the panel disagreed and considered the play reckless.<\/p>\n
The player will miss England’s final preparation match against France next Saturday.<\/p>\n
