Nick Lodolo Could Go on the Injured List for Blister<\/h2>\n\nThe Cincinnati Reds’ left-handed pitcher, Nick Lodolo, could be placed on the injured list after leaving Monday night’s game against the Chicago Cubs in the second inning due to a blister on his left index finger.\n\nLodolo retired the first five Cubs batters. Then, after throwing a strike on his first pitch to Justin Turner, he gestured towards his left hand.\n\nManager Terry Francona ran to the mound with a coach for a brief conversation. Lodolo walked to the dugout and was replaced by Nick Martinez.\n\nIt’s better now, which is good. I certainly think we’re going to err on the side of caution, because he’s dealt with this before, and you never want this to turn into something else as far as the arm or something like that. So we’ll do the right thing.\n\nLodolo is 8-6 with a 3.05 ERA in 23 starts (the most of his career) and 129 2\/3 innings. He has won his last three decisions.\n\n\n
