The event will take place on August 16th.\n\nThe HDA, composed of current and retired NHL players belonging to minorities, aims to eradicate racism in hockey and make this sport more accessible and inclusive for young people who may not have the resources to practice it.\n\nThis tournament, announced as the world&#8217;s largest for young BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), will be free for the 250 young participants.\n\nThe tournament expands on the work the HDA has done, offering sports and educational programs on and off the ice throughout the year, benefiting 1,500 young people enrolled in the Toronto area.\n\nAmong the members of the HDA are Calgary Flames forward Nazem Kadri and Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Matt Dumba.
