He was up 0-2 in the count and then threw three consecutive balls, the last at 99 mph.\n\nImmediately after that pitch, he winced and hung his right arm, prompting Rockies head athletic trainer Keith Duggar to run to the mound to check on him. After a brief discussion, Halvorsen left the game, with Dugan Darnell entering to finish the 8-5 victory.\n\nSchaeffer said Halvorsen had not experienced any problems entering Saturday&#8217;s game.\n\n&#8220;Not recently, but felt something a while ago, but has been fine for a while,&#8221; Schaeffer said.\n\nHalvorsen has been Colorado&#8217;s primary closer since the beginning of June and had converted nine of his last 10 opportunities, including his last six.\n\nThree of them have been after the All-Star break, which has helped the Rockies to record a 7-6 record.
