In addition, a future sale clause has been confirmed, which stipulates that 20% of a future transfer will go to the Royals. According to sources close to the agreement, the Royals will not receive players in return.\n\nKansas City could send Utah up to an additional $100,000 in performance bonuses in the future. Kansas City&#8217;s payment to Utah will be distributed over several years to balance the impact on the NWSL&#8217;s net transfer threshold. Utah received $300,000 immediately, $200,000 next year, and $100,000 in 2027.\n\nDuring the summer, Utah considered trade talks for Sentnor with several NWSL teams.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cThanks to the Royals for selecting this small-town girl and giving me the opportunity to start the dream of my life of playing professional soccer. Thank you for the opportunities and experiences on and off the field,\u201d declared Sentnor.<\/p><cite>Ally Sentnor<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nSentnor has scored four goals in 12 appearances for the USWNT and was named U.S. Soccer&#8217;s 2024 Young Female Player of the Year.\n\nThe Utah Royals selected Sentnor with the number 1 pick in the 2024 NWSL Draft.\n\nThis season, Sentnor has scored a goal and an assist for the Royals, who are in last place. She has started in all 13 of Utah&#8217;s matches, which has only managed one victory.\n\nKansas City, which already has a talented attack, leads the NWSL, with an eight-point lead over Orlando Pride, which is in second place.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cAlly is a dynamic and tenacious player on both sides of the field, and she will be another threat in our squad.
