Max VanderMolen and Chase Yenser share second place at nine under par, with 36 holes left to play.\n\nWoods, 16, failed to qualify for match play rounds at last week&#8217;s U.S. Junior Amateur Championship in Dallas. Now, he&#8217;s seeking one of the two automatic spots on the Junior Ryder Cup team, which will be awarded to the top two finishers this week.\n\nIn addition, there is the possibility of a captain&#8217;s selection, although the chances of Woods being chosen are low.\n\nStudent at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach, Florida, Woods won the AJGA Team TaylorMade Invitational in May.
