The event, which was held in honor of Father&#8217;s Day, culminated with a victory for La Vega over S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez with a score of 7-5.\n\nThe final, characterized by the high performance of both teams, prevented S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez from obtaining his second consecutive championship in this category. Jos\u00e9 P\u00e9rez Dom\u00ednguez, leader of La Vega, led his team to victory, while Jhosed Augusto Luciano Paulino was recognized as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.\n\nThe Abeprosado team took the bronze medal in this championship, which took place at the Oratorio Mar\u00eda Auxiliadora Baseball Play. For this 2025 edition, the tournament was dedicated to Jos\u00e9 Meregildo Jimini\u00e1n, a member of the Fedom Executive Committee and former president of the Santo Domingo Province Baseball Association.\n\nIn the National U-6, teams from various regions participated, including San Juan de La Maguana (represented by the Chelo League), the National District, Abeprosado, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, and La Vega.\n\nThe event was attended by prominent figures in baseball, such as Welington Castillo, former professional player and member of the coaching staff for Premier 12 2024, and Nelson Cruz, general manager of the Dominican team for the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Both were present supporting their sons, Eli\u00f3n Castillo and Ne\u00f3n Cruz, who played for the La Vega team.\n\nDuring the awards ceremony, Jos\u00e9 Meregildo Jimini\u00e1n received a plaque in recognition of his dedication to the training of young talents in baseball.
