Flyweight contender Tatsuro Taira will face a new opponent, HyunSung Park, as announced on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Taira, ranked as number 6 in the UFC flyweight division, was originally scheduled to face Amir Albazi in a five-round bout. However, Albazi was forced to withdraw for undisclosed reasons.<\/p>\n<p>Park, who debuted in the UFC in 2023, was going to fight Steve Erceg on August 9, but will now compete a week earlier in the main event on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Taira, from Japan, suffered the first defeat of his career in October, losing by split decision to Brandon Royval.<\/p>\n<p>Park has proven to be a formidable competitor, finishing three consecutive opponents inside the octagon.
