The player participated in the team&#8217;s preseason practices and recently hired Drew Rosenhaus as an agent to negotiate a new contract.\n\nFitzpatrick, 28, signed a four-year, $73.6 million extension with the Steelers in 2022, becoming the highest-paid safety in the league at the time. During his six seasons in Pittsburgh, Fitzpatrick was selected for five Pro Bowls and three All-Pro teams.\n\nFitzpatrick joins a Dolphins secondary that has undergone significant changes, replacing four of its five starters from the previous season.
