Nola is in the process of recovering from a right ankle sprain and a rib fracture that have kept him out of action since May.\n\nOn Friday, Nola took batting practice. Phillies manager Rob Thomson reported on Saturday that the 32-year-old right-hander will throw around 60 pitches in the Triple-A game.\n\nNola suffered the ankle injury during agility drills on May 8. After two ineffective starts, he was placed on the injured list on May 15. A bullpen session on June 1 resulted in pain, and an MRI revealed a stress fracture in a rib, according to Thomson, on June 10.\n\nBeing on the injured list for a physical injury for the first time since 2017, Nola had a 1-7 record with an ERA of 6.16 in nine starts and 49\u2153 innings.\n\nRight fielder Nick Castellanos was not in the starting lineup on Saturday, a day after getting injured in the Phillies&#8217; 12-5 victory over the New York Yankees.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>In last night&#8217;s play, when he went towards the wall, he simply bumped his left knee a little. He arrived a little sore today, so we&#8217;ll keep him out, we&#8217;ll see how he is tomorrow.<\/p><cite>Rob Thomson<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nAlec Bohm is scheduled to meet with the Phillies on Sunday, will travel with the team to Chicago, and will be evaluated.\n\nBohm suffered a fracture in a left rib after being hit by a Yu Darvish pitch at 92.2 mph in San Diego on July 12.
