Or maybe useless?&#8221; with the phrase &#8220;@ some referees&#8221; in the video.\n\nThe TikTok post, made on July 18, has accumulated 1.3 million views.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I was fined $500 for this TikTok,&#8221; Cunningham wrote on her X account on Wednesday, adding laughing emojis. &#8220;I don&#8217;t know why this makes me laugh&#8230; ok, I get it! As if there aren&#8217;t more important things to worry about in our league right now.<\/p><cite>Sophie Cunningham<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe refereeing performance has been a topic of debate in the league this season, with numerous players and coaches criticizing the referees for their inconsistent decisions.\n\nSome of the most prominent cases have involved decisions that affected Fever star Caitlin Clark, Cunningham&#8217;s teammate.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Everyone is getting better, except the referees,&#8221; Fever coach Stephanie White said last month. &#8220;So we have to figure out a way to fix it.
