Hamilton Redoubles Efforts to Boost Ferrari<\/h2>\n\n\nLewis Hamilton, the renowned Formula 1 driver, has expressed his commitment to “go further” to ensure that Ferrari makes the necessary improvements and competes for world championships while he remains with the team. The seven-time champion, who joined Ferrari from Mercedes during the winter, has yet to reach the podium with the Italian team, despite a victory in the sprint race in China.\n\nOn the eve of this weekend’s Belgian Grand Prix, Hamilton pointed out clear areas where improvement is needed to break the 18-year drought without driver titles and aspire to championships in the coming years.\n\n\n

I see enormous potential in this team. The passion, nothing comes close. It’s a huge organization and there are many moving parts, and not all of them are working perfectly.<\/p>Lewis Hamilton<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nHamilton emphasized his role in challenging every area of the team, especially those who make key decisions. He recalled that, despite having renowned drivers like Kimi R\u00e4ikk\u00f6nen, Fernando Alonso, and Sebastian Vettel in the last 20 years, Ferrari has not won a world championship.\n\nThe British driver was optimistic and determined to change that situation. “I am not going to let that happen to me,” he stated. “I am willing to make an extra effort. Fortunately, I have had experiences in two other great teams (Mercedes and McLaren). Although things will be different, I believe that sometimes, if you follow the same path, you get the same results.”\n\nHamilton revealed that he has presented documents to Ferrari engineers detailing the improvements he wants in the car, and has followed up on these demands in meetings in Maranello since the last race at Silverstone. “I had many meetings. I met with the team bosses. I sat down with John Elkann, Benedetto Vigna, and Fred Vasseur in several meetings,” he explained. “I also met with the head of development of our car, with Loic Serra, and with the heads of different departments, talking about next year’s engine, talking about the front and rear suspension for next year, things you want, problems you have with this car.”\n\nThe Ferrari team arrives at the Belgian Grand Prix with an upgrade to the rear suspension, aiming to unlock more potential from the car by allowing it to run at lower ride heights. The new suspension was tested in a filming day at Mugello last week, but Hamilton said its first real test would be at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend.\n\n\n
