The Belgian coach assures that his email was probably hacked and that the resignation letter was not issued by him.\nThis new episode adds to the tense relationship between Brys and FECAFOOT, which dates back to his appointment by the Cameroonian Ministry of Sports in April 2024.\nA letter dated July 21st, supposedly sent by Brys to the Ministry of Sports and FECAFOOT, indicated his decision to terminate the contract &#8220;due to the non-payment of my remuneration and that of my staff for more than 60 days&#8221;.\nFollowing the publication of the letter on Wednesday, FECAFOOT issued a statement in which it took note of the resignation and announced a &#8220;coordinated response to mitigate the impact of this vacancy in the management of the national team&#8217;s technical staff&#8221;.\nHowever, Brys later responded with a letter to the Ministry of Sports, in which he stated that his email had probably been hacked and that he had not resigned.\nThe Cameroonian Ministry of Sports confirmed that Brys remains in his position.
