Before a full gymnasium and with the support of their fans, Costa Rica defeated the Dominican Republic with scores of 25-19, 25-14 and 25-15.\n\nFrom the first set, the Costa Rican players imposed their rhythm, taking advantage of the errors of the Dominican team, which showed disconnection and failures.\n\nThe Dominican team&#8217;s coach, Alexandre Ceccato, requested time to reorganize his team, but failed to change the course of the match.\n\nCosta Rica capitalized on 30 unforced errors from their rival and dominated the key statistics of the match, including attacks (35-25), blocks (7-4), and serves (3-1).\n\nAng\u00e9lica Rodr\u00edguez was the offensive figure of the match, accumulating 14 points, with 12 in attack and 2 in blocking.
