Voting began this Tuesday, July 22, and is aimed at sports journalists throughout the country.\n\nThe announcement was made by Dr. Dionisio Guzm\u00e1n, president of the Hall of Fame&#8217;s Permanent Committee. Guzm\u00e1n explained that this process is crucial for the election of the athletes who will be inducted at the ceremony on Sunday, November 16th.\n\nSports communicators will be responsible for choosing two personalities who will be immortalized in the 59th edition of the Hall of Fame. Sports reporters will have until August 24 to cast their votes.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>As is tradition, the Pavilion initiates the electronic vote to offer the chroniclers of the entire country the opportunity to elect two future immortals, one in baseball and another in any discipline.<\/p><cite>Dionisio Guzm\u00e1n, President of the Permanent Committee<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe ballots with the candidates are being distributed to the provincial guilds that group sports reporters, as well as individually.\n\nDoctor Guzman, on behalf of the Permanent Committee and the Veterans Committee of the Hall of Fame, thanked the sports communicators for their collaboration in this election process.\n\nSo far, only the election of Gonzalo Mej\u00eda as the next immortal has been confirmed, in the category of promoter.
